Upstanding property developer with quality and design you can trust.

Over the years, Enfield’s leading industry experience and knowledge in all areas of property development from concept, design, planning, construction, finishing work, and property management, has led to the rise of luxury living units in the Golden Horseshoe area.

Our upscale condominium community at 174 Mountain Park Avenue in Hamilton, consisting of 20 luxury condominium units in a well-appointed building, as well as our townhomes on Caroline, Elizabeth, Pearl and Maria Streets in Burlington, are thoughtfully designed and architecturally unique sights to see.

When William John Fraleigh first opened his window shop on Beach Road in Hamilton, he likely could not have foreseen how big an impression his legacy would leave behind. The three generations of Fraleigh property managers and developers have built communities since the 1930s, and been pioneers of technologies in building science.

Greg Fraleigh learned firsthand how barriers in home design create challenges for those who are physiologically infirmed. This sparked an intense desire to develop with barrier-free design in mind. An example of this can be seen at his luxury townhouse developments on Pearl, Maria and Elizabeth Streets in downtown Burlington.

The Enfield impact on the city skyline.

“The day the crane went up the Mountain, the skyline changed forever, just as it changed when my grandfather built those apartments.”

– The Hamilton Spectator 12 Feb 2009
Understanding the planning that goes into the architectural design and engineering of buildings gives us a significant ‘leg-up’ on our competitors. With a focus on innovative building design, our President Greg Fraleigh took a bold structural stance on the mountain skyline when he built Hamilton’s first luxury condominium at 174 Mountain Park Avenue, opposite the top of the Wentworth Staircase. The eleven-storey condominium accommodates just two spacious units per floor (each with their own private elevator service), and was described by The Hamilton Spectator as delivering ‘opulence without ostentation’.

Further down the brow at 775 Concession Street, William J. Fraleigh (Greg’s grandfather), developed Hamilton’s first multi-residential apartment buildings.

The Enfield Group are also behind a series of luxury townhomes in Burlington’s lakeside core, working with forward-thinking builders and construction teams. We are committed to quality you can trust.

In the Media

“There are closets as big as some offices, marble and hardwood floors that gleam, chandeliers that twinkle.” - The Hamilton Spectator, 12 Feb 2009, 'The Madison transforms the Mountain.' (Lisa Grace Marr)

Built with Heart

“My father was the first one to remind me - here I am building just down the road from where my grandfather built - and my dad built multiple apartment buildings from here to Sarnia, including Patricia Apartments, named after my mother.” - Greg Fraleigh

Quality Assurance

“We are committed to upstanding quality you can trust,” says Greg Fraleigh. If you want to do business, we are an established company here to help.”

Never assume that they don't need your product or service, always knock on the door and ask.
William P. Fraleigh
Chairman 1955-1999

“As Canadians, each of us deserves the most basic need: shelter. It’s our obligation to make sure that happens for everyone. No matter what economic bracket they’re in, those economic brackets can change in the blink of an eye. If 2020 has shown us anything, it’s shown that the entire population of the world can be brought to its knees by ill health, so we strive to create healthy communities through physical design by collaborative relationships between the developer, the manager, owner and member residents. We’ve been given the responsibility, in whatever capacity possible, to help those who can’t help themselves. I’m fortunate enough to be able to deliver that in the form of safe affordable, well-maintained housing.”
